The Pearl EM-15CC PUREtouch 15" crash cymbal is designed to work with Pearl e/Merge electronic drums without changing the way you play. Its 15" format gives you a large, familiar strike zone. Under the stick, the touch remains supple and legible.
The weight and swing are reminiscent of an acoustic crash. Both light and heavy strokes are well controlled. The 2 zones allow you to vary your playing depending on where you strike. The ride remains stable and doesn't feel rigid.
Sweeps go through easily without any plastic effect. The choke feels natural in the hand. The internal vibration prolongs the feel after the sound has stopped. The sound level stays low while you play. You can work for long periods without hearing fatigue.
