The Pearl EM1 malletSTATION xylophone is a 3-octave electronic mallet controller designed for both learning and performing. Powered solely by USB and compatible with Mac, PC, tablets and smartphones, it lets you play anywhere with an ultra-lightweight setup. Its collaboration with Keith McMillen Instruments gives it a natural, expressive playing response that's close to that of an acoustic instrument.

The Pearl EM1 malletSTATION xylophone is a full-size electronic mallet controller designed to grow with you. Developed in collaboration with Keith McMillen Instruments, it features Smart Fabric Sensor technology for a natural typing feel.
Silicone blades respond finely to impact, muffled play and aftertouch. The 3-octave adjustable note range lets you adapt the instrument to any musical context. You can define the fundamental note to suit your needs, even for unusual low registers.
The EM1 operates solely on USB power, without an external power supply. It connects directly to a computer, tablet or smartphone. The 3 faders and 4 assignable MIDI buttons give you precise control over your sounds. The 3 pedal inputs further extend the possibilities of expression in live performance. The software editor makes it easy to fully customise your configuration. Its slim, sturdy chassis is easy to transport. It's a modern tool for studio, stage and sound experimentation.
