The Pearl Export EXX1208TNC-31 13 "x9" tom is a continuation of the Export series, which has been renowned for its reliability for decades.
Its 6-ply 7.5mm poplar and mahogany body produces a clear sound, with good depth in the midrange. Thanks to the SST process and AcoustiGlue, resonance remains even and easy to control. The 45° chamfer helps to find a stable tuning quickly, even for less experienced drummers.
What's more, the 13 "x9" format provides more body than a smaller tom, while remaining versatile. The OptiLoc suspension system allows the drumhead to vibrate freely, improving sustain without unwanted vibrations. The result is an even response, whether in rehearsal or in concert. This tom fits naturally into a rock, pop or fusion configuration.
