The Pearl Export EXX1616FC-779 16" x 16" bass tom is part of the Export line, renowned for its reliability and versatility. Its 6-ply 7.5mm poplar and mahogany body produces a deep, yet legible sound. Thanks to the SST process and AcoustiGlue, resonance is even and well controlled.
The 45° chamfer helps you to find an effective tuning quickly, even if you often change the context in which you're playing. The 16" x 16" format features generous bass, ideal for supporting the groove without masking the other elements of the kit. In rehearsal, it keeps a good presence and is easy to control. On stage, it retains definition, even at high volume.
The feet provide good stability, which is reassuring when the playing gets more energetic. Visually, the amethyst finish is very charming. This bass tom is the perfect addition to your Export kit!
