The Pearl Export EXX705NNBRC-864 Satin Scarlet drum kit is for you if you're looking for a serious, complete kit that's ready to grow with your playing. Its 20" x 16" bass drum, 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms, 14" x 14" bass tom and 14" x 5.5" snare drum configuration makes for a versatile and very comfortable kit. This size of bass drum provides a deep bass without invading space, making it ideal for pop, rock, funk or even gospel.
The drums are made from 6-ply poplar and mahogany, with a thickness of around 7.5 mm. The poplar adds roundness and overall volume, while the mahogany supports the low frequencies and gives body to the sound. With every strike, you'll feel a full response, with a nice presence in the mix.
The 14" x 5.5" snare drum offers a clean attack and a pleasant bounce under the stick. It's just as at home on strong rhythms as it is on more subtle passages. The triple-flanged 1.6 mm steel hoops maintain stable tuning and allow the drums to vibrate freely.
The Opti-Loc suspension system allows the toms to resonate without being muffled, improving sustain and note clarity. Remo UT Clear skins on the toms and Powerstroke3 on the bass drum ensure a good balance between attack and harmonic control. The result is a clean sound that's easy to set up and use straight away.
The HWP-834 hardware pack includes sturdy, adjustable stands for a comfortable fit. The P-930 Demonator pedal is smooth and precise, making it a pleasure to play even during long sessions. The PX 14" hi-hat cymbal, 16" crash cymbal and 20" ride cymbal complete the package with clear, effective brilliance.
