Presentation
The Pearl Export EXX8PNC-31 8" x 7" alto tom is perfectly in tune with the versatile spirit of the Export series. Its compact size makes it easy to add an extra colour to your set. The 6-ply poplar body produces a balanced, legible sound. The size of the body gives a clean response, which is ideal for fast shots.
Tuning is straightforward, making it easy to find the right setting quickly. Sustain remains controlled, so there's no intrusive resonance. This alto tom is equally suited to rock styles and more technical music. It works very well alongside a classic mid-range tom. The feel is pleasant and consistent under the sticks.
Its construction inspires confidence for regular use. The 8" format adds rhythmic variety to the breaks. What's more, the Jet Black finish gives it a certain style!
