It's not always easy to find a good snare drum... unless you have the Pearl PHA1450 Philharmonic. This model has been designed to provide percussionists with rare versatility, without compromising on quality.
The cast aluminium body delivers a balanced sound: warm enough for intimate settings and punchy enough for live performances. Where it really stands out is with its 3 built-in timbres. Each brings a different colour, and you can combine them or use them separately depending on the track.
All this is managed by the ultra-smooth, ultra-quiet SR505 system. You can adjust each tension. Changing skins or timbres is simplified by the quick-release system.
Design-wise, the simple circles and tubular shells give a classic, uncluttered look.
This snare drum is equally suited to conservatory students and experienced orchestral musicians. It's an instrument that grows with you!
