The Pearl RF1P1450S20C-816 Reference One 14 "x5" 20-ply Satin Racing Green snare drum is aimed at advanced and professional drummers who demand power and clarity. Its 20-ply hybrid maple/ball barrel creates a particularly rigid structure. This thickness enhances projection while retaining good sensitivity under the stick. Maple adds warmth and roundness to the spectrum. Birch accentuates the attack and clarifies the upper midrange.
In 14 "x5" format, it reacts quickly and remains responsive. It has a clean snap, ideal for articulate patterns. The midrange remains concentrated, making it easy to place in a dense mix. Sustain is controlled, with no harmonic overload.
Mastercast moulded rings optimise attack precision. They contribute to tuning stability and tighten the sound in rimshot. Swivel Lugs simplify fine tension adjustments. The Glide Lock trigger ensures smooth, reliable engagement of the tone.
