Each EvenPly barrel combines maple, birch and mahogany according to its precise function in the kit. The result is a sound that's wide, deep and legible, designed for drummers who want control without sacrificing power.

Presentation
The Pearl Reference One RF1P924XSPLC-124 represents the modern culmination of Pearl's Reference heritage. Each drum is individually designed to make the most of its frequency range.
The 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms use EvenPly-Six maple/ball construction for a clean attack and fast response. The 12" tom acts as the tonal centre of the kit with a natural, stable balance. The 16" x 16" bass tom incorporates internal mahogany folds to lower the pitch and enhance depth. The 22" x 16" bass drum combines maple and mahogany in 8 plies to accentuate bass and projection.
MasterCast Die-Cast hoops contribute to precise attack and controlled sustain. The R2 Air system releases all the vibration from the toms without mechanical stress. Low-mass STL shells facilitate fluid, consistent tuning. The tuning range remains wide, from subdued to the most powerful register.
The sound remains crystal-clear, even at high volume. This configuration is a natural choice for both live and studio use. The integrated bass drum muffler cushion lets you quickly adjust the bass control. The Matte Black Mist finish adds to the kit's modern, sober aesthetic. The kit is supplied without snare drum, cymbals or accessories.
