Presentation
The Pearl Reference One RF1P924XSPSC-310 drum kit continues the Reference heritage with an even more refined and expressive approach. The EvenPly drums are deliberately thinner to enhance resonance and sensitivity.
The 10" x 7" tom combines maple and birch for a clean attack and immediate playability. The 12" x 8" tom, made entirely of maple, stabilises the tonal core of the set. The 16" x 16" bass tom features internal mahogany folds for added depth and bass. The 22" x 16" bass drum is based on an 8-ply maple/mahogany construction for impact and sustain.
MasterCast Die-Cast hoops contribute to precise, long-lasting tuning. The R2 Air suspension system releases the natural vibration of the toms. Low-mass STL shells contribute to a more open and lively response. The integrated bass drum muffler cushion makes it easy to adapt the sound to suit the stage or studio.
The tuning range remains wide and consistent throughout the kit. The feel retains a sense of controlled power, without excessive compression. This configuration is just as suited to contemporary music as it is to more demanding contexts. What's more, the Brooklyn Burst finish adds a strong, elegant visual identity. The drum kit is delivered without snare drum, cymbals or accessories.
