The Ultra-Sound Pearl SN1420I is designed to optimise the response and sensitivity of a 14" snare drum. It is based on a set of 20 steel strands, chosen for their balance between precision and control.
The 'I' profile distributes tension evenly across the entire width of the timbre, promoting neutral, versatile behaviour. This design is equally suited to a wide range of playing situations and standard set-ups. Tension cords are included for simple, straightforward installation.
The timbre is compatible with various trigger systems thanks to its dedicated mounting plate. The whole system is designed to produce a homogeneous vibration in contact with the resonant skin. The wire treatment reduces the risk of corrosion over time. This model can easily be fitted as a replacement or upgrade to an existing snare drum.
