Its generous depth enhances volume and projection, making it ideal for powerful settings. The 20-strand Ultra-Sound strings and SuperHoop II hoops ensure that the whole instrument remains sensitive and precise.

The Pearl STH1480S snare drum is for drummers looking for a sharp attack and plenty of volume. Its 1 mm chromed steel body with pearl reinforcement develops a lively, highly present response. This metal construction generates a clean snap accompanied by brilliant harmonics. The midrange remains energetic and well defined.
With a depth of 8", the instrument produces an impressive reserve of power. The rimshots stand out with authority in rock or amplified music contexts. Despite this power, the response remains fast and precise. Ghost notes remain legible even at low dynamics.
The 2.3mm triple-flange SuperHoop II banding helps the barrel to resonate naturally. This design also facilitates stable, accurate tuning. CL Bridge Lugs limit contact with the barrel to preserve vibration. The SR-017 trigger allows easy, fluid engagement of the timbre.
The 20-strand Ultra-Sound strut uses a phosphor bronze mounting plate for even tension. This configuration improves sensitivity and response definition. The sandblasted Remo Ambassador and Hazy Snare skins provide an immediate sound experience.
