The Pearl Sensitone STHNSF1465 snare drum is one of the iconic models in the Sensitone series. It rests on a 1 mm brass body with a central snap ring, covered in black nickel plating. This choice of material produces a warm sound while retaining good definition when struck. Thanks to this construction, the snare drum remains legible at both low and high dynamics.
The depth of 6.5" accentuates the presence at the bottom of the spectrum, giving more body to the hits. Gold-plated 2.3mm SuperHoop II hoops enhance tuning stability and facilitate hard rimshots. Tubular tie rods and shells ensure precise, reliable tuning over time. The SR-017 trigger provides simple, effective timbre adjustment.
The Remo Ambassador sandblasted headstock and Hazy Snare resonant headstock contribute to a clear, coherent sound balance. This configuration brings out the natural musicality of brass without complicating tuning. The Black Nickel finish adds an elegant and distinctive visual touch. The set is versatile and adaptable to a wide range of playing situations.
