Pearl - STS1465SC-314 Session Studio Select Gloss Barnwood Brown 14" x 6,5"

The Pearl STS1465SC Session Studio Select is a 14 "x6.5" snare drum from the series designed to combine studio precision and stage efficiency.

Its 5.4mm EvenPly-Six body combines four layers of birch with two layers of African mahogany. This combination of woods brings clarity to the attack while retaining a warm, dense base. The relatively thin thickness enhances sensitivity and responsiveness at both low and high dynamics. The 60° external chamfers concentrate the sound and make tuning easier. The result is a clean attack with a contained, defined bass.

The barrel develops a balanced timbre, suitable for both live and studio recording. The 2.3 mm SuperHoop II rims maintain tuning stability while allowing the body to breathe. CL Bridge shells limit points of contact with the body to preserve resonance.

The SR-17A trigger allows precise tuning and a smooth transition between engaged and disengaged timbres. The S-022N timbre provides an even response across the entire hitting surface. The 6.5" depth provides more body than a shorter model. This configuration is just as suited to heavy grooves as it is to more nuanced strokes. The Gloss Barnwood Brown finish highlights the wood grain without altering the natural vibration of the body.

This snare can be easily integrated into a Session Studio Select kit, while remaining relevant in other configurations.
