Preamps

The Phoenix Audio DRS-2 is a Class A direct-to-class 2-channel mic / line preamp. Its Class A (TF1) output level was originally designed by David Rees, the designer the famous Neve 2253 and Limiter / Compressor Neve 2254 among many others and has been replaced by the DSOP-2. The discrete type balanced microphone input, class A, has been designed to outperform any other input transformer, in terms of frequency response.
