Unlike lightweight plastics, unable to control the low frequencies powerful, the Razorblade combines medium slats with a solid wood frame, the whole laminate to impart rigidity and mass. The polished table of 24 X 48 "consists of a series of 17 deep wells, which will have the effect of spreading the acoustic energy over a range of 425Hz to 5.5kHz with excellent distribution down to 200Hz. This makes the Razorblade particularly effective in the 'control room' studios where several units are generally grouped together on the back of the listening area.
