One metre from the wall socket, the PSSO PowerCon 3 x 1.5 1 m H07RN-F power cable puts no strain on either the plug or the appliance, and its weight of 240 g is proof of this. The H07RN-F cable remains supple to the touch, with no knots forming when stored.
The 3 x 1.5 mm² conductors are suitable for powering an active speaker or a medium-sized amplifier. The male protective contact on connector A connects the socket’s earth to the chassis, whilst the PowerCON connector B locks onto the device’s socket. The integrated NEUTRIK connector forms a single unit with the cable, with no parts to tighten.
A one-metre length is suitable for installations where the socket and the unit face each other, such as a loudspeaker mounted against a wall or a power amplifier housed in a cabinet. The black finish is discreet, whilst the European manufacture is clearly indicated. PSSO, the audio brand of Steinigke Showtechnic – a German company founded in 1979 by brothers who built amplifiers and lighting effects for their disco nights – was launched in 2005.
