Presentation
Behind the scenes, nobody pays much attention to the PSSO PowerCon 3 x 1.5 3 m connection cable, but without it, everything would shut down. This power cable supplies power to the amplifiers and PA speakers.
Beneath its black sheath, which blends in with the curtains, the H07RN-F cable can withstand being dragged along and trampled on by a hurried crew. Its 9 mm diameter fits comfortably in the hand, and its 3 x 1.5 mm² conductors are sufficient for a stage amplifier.
The integrated NEUTRIK connectors come pre-fitted, so there’s no soldering required before the soundcheck. The blue PowerCON (connector A) plugs into the input, the grey PowerCON (connector B) into the output, and two devices can be daisy-chained without an adapter.
Measuring 3 m in length and weighing 470 g, it connects a floor-standing rack to a floor-standing loudspeaker. Manufactured in Europe, it’s ideal for equipping a rental fleet. PSSO, the audio brand of Steinigke Showtechnic – a German events company whose history began in 1979 with disco nights – has been targeting rental companies, technicians and sound system installations since its launch in 2005.
