Presentation
At one o’clock in the morning, whilst packing up, the PSSO 3 x 1.5 15 m Black extension lead can be rolled up in just a few simple steps and weighs just 2.35 kg for its 15 m of cable. This modest weight makes a difference when the equipment has to be loaded back onto the lorry after the final performance.
Its H07RN-F rubber sheath withstands repeated trips between the van and the stage. With a cross-section of 3 x 1.5 mm², this extension lead can power two active speakers or a DJ console. The cable therefore remains a staple in the kit of teams who set up and dismantle their equipment at various events.
At each end, a male plug and a female socket with a protective earth contact connect the power supply to the equipment, ensuring the necessary earth continuity. Its black finish blends in just as well with a lounge carpet as it does with the dark floor of a stage.
PSSO is the audio brand of Steinigke Showtechnic, a German company that has been developing it since 2005 with a focus on event sound systems. The PSSO 3 x 1.5 15 m Black Extension Cable is manufactured in Germany, and the brand places far greater importance on its construction than on marketing hype.
