Presentation
On a festival stage, every cable becomes a railway track and the electricity, a precious cargo; the blue PSSO CEE 32 A 3 x 6.5 m extension lead provides a direct link between the socket and the control room. Steinigke Showtechnic launched PSSO in 2005 to equip the entertainment industry.
The H07RN-F cable, rated at 3 x 6.0 mm², forms the track. This cross-section allows current from the sound systems to flow without overheating the line, even during prolonged use. Its rubber sheath withstands the constant moving of the equipment case and outdoor downpours.
A five-metre length is sufficient to connect the control room from the stage base. A 3-pin male CEE 32 A connector and a 3-pin female CEE 32 A socket secure the connection. A half-turn closes the circuit, and the power flows to the amplifier.
The blue colour acts as a visual cue on the platform, making it easy to spot amidst a tangle of cables. Manufactured in Germany, the extension cable weighs 2.45 kg – the weight of a tool bag for five metres of cable. You lay the track, the power flows, and the set receives its power.
