The Q Acoustics 5090 centre speaker in Matte Black finish incorporates two 110mm drivers using C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ technology, thought to combine precise, well-controlled bass with detailed midrange reproduction. With a sensitivity of 90.5 dB and a recommended power rating of 25 to 150 W, the 5090 is compatible with a wide range of electronics and retains flexible placement thanks to contained, damped bass.

The Q Acoustics 5090 Matte Black is a two-way centre speaker developed to accompany 5000 Series home cinema systems thanks to the combination of two 110mm C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ drivers and a 25mm tweeter.
C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ technology is the core element of this acoustic design. Its continuous diaphragm profile combines the fast response and bass impact of a straight cone with the precise control of midrange and high frequencies offered by a flared geometry. This structure also helps to limit unwanted resonances and improve sound dispersion.
The 25 mm tweeter has a cut-off frequency set at 2.1 kHz to ensure a coherent transition between the different registers of the spectrum. The result is a more natural sound reproduction, particularly for dialogue and complex soundtracks.
Compatible with amplifiers from 25 to 150 W and with a sensitivity of 90.5 dB, the 5090 Matte Black can be easily integrated into a wide range of audio-video configurations. Its damped bass means it can be installed close to a wall without compromising tonal balance.
The Matte Black finish ensures that it blends discreetly into contemporary environments, while highlighting the sober lines of its cabinet.
