Presentation
The Reloop RP-7000 MK2 Upper Torque Turntable System Black is a professional turntable equipped with a direct-drive motor. It resists vibrations that can be caused by low frequencies in DJ booths, and its damping feet help to further improve isolation. The surface is coated with a high-quality, scratch-resistant black metallic finish. The RP-7000 MK2 turntable is equipped with a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. The tonearm base improves stability and allows for height and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustment. The tonearm comes with a universal cartridge system connector (SME).
The LED light mounted on a movable aluminum pivot helps you find the diamond position in a dark environment. The target light is also removable and easy to change. An additional on/off switch has been integrated to facilitate vertical setup (battle position) and using the buttons on the top panel you can switch between the three motor speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 RPM). Dedicated buttons for forward and reverse modes allow for greater creativity in your mix.
Additionally, using the high-resolution pitch fader you can adjust the platter speed within the turntable's classic pitch range of ±8%. However, the RP-7000 MK2 is also capable of a wider, DJ-friendly ±16% pitch range and a massive ultra-pitch ±50% pitch range. This allows for increased creativity when modulating the tone of the record being played. If Quartz Lock is active, the platter speed will not be affected by the fader position and will rotate at zero pitch (0%).
Thanks to the rear connection panel, the RP-7000 MK2 can easily be mounted in a flight case and positioned seamlessly alongside other DJ equipment. The integrated switchable RIAA phono preamp allows the use of the gold-plated RCA connectors for both phono and line output signals.
The finely tuned quartz motor with digital pitch correction operates with a starting torque of 2.8kg/cm, adjustable up to a maximum of 4.5kg/cm. In addition, the rotation speed of the turntable can be adjusted from 0.2 to 6 seconds and the precision-machined die-cast aluminum platter is rubber-coated to eliminate unwanted vibrations and resonances.
