Rode - RODECaster Video S

The RODECaster Video S is a particularly practical solution for managing light video production without the need for multiple external devices. The console combines a Full HD video engine, three HDMI inputs and a USB-C interface for integrating a webcam or UVC camera. It accepts up to four simultaneous video streams, with a customisable scene system that helps to link sources together seamlessly. The internal processor, based on an octa-core architecture, handles all video processing as well as the conversions needed to integrate different formats or frame rates.

On the audio side, the RODECaster Video S incorporates two Revolution Preamps from the brand's latest models, with a high gain margin and very low background noise. The device also manages two integrated receivers for RØDE Series IV wireless systems, so you can work with HF microphones without the need for an additional box. APHEX processing provides professional colouring and access to detailed settings: equalisation, compression, filtering, noise reduction and Aural Exciter and Big Bottom effects.

For recording or streaming, the device offers full compatibility with the main services via Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6. It can write directly to a USB-C SSD or send a UVC output to a computer. The control interface remains deliberate thanks to a two-inch touchscreen and central encoder, and the RØDECaster application offers advanced scene, routing and mixing settings. The result is a versatile tool that's compact enough to fit into a desk or small stage.
