Les Paul-type electric guitar pickup, single coil, Soapbar format, bridge position, cream cap. A recreation of Gibson's vintage 1946 coil with all the grit, sparkle and midrange that make vintage P90s so special. In bridge position, this pickup has sparkling mids that really give it a gritty, open tone. Chords have a beautiful harmonic richness and single notes are clean and direct.

Dual alnico 5 magnets and short, wide coils give the P90 its unique timbre, with a powerful midrange and higher output than most other single-coil pickups.
Vintage P90 Seymour Duncan pickups are wound with enamelled wire, on the same Leesona machine that was used in the old Gibson factory in the 1950s.
They are filled with wax to prevent pickup problems.
