A high-end, scalable drum machine pedal for the most demanding users, the Beatbuddy opens up a whole new world of possibilities thanks to its advanced features. From combining all drum styles with the different styles present in the pedal to designing and editing your own drum kits, everything is possible! The entire content of the pedal (kits, songs, sounds) can be edited using the BeatBuddy Manager software by connecting it to a computer via the included USB cable. It can be synchronized via MIDI with a compatible MIDI device, and can be controlled using the footswitch sold separately. Adding or removing parts to songs or breaks, programming the accent that will mark the rhythm of a cymbal hit or a hand clap is then possible in just a few clicks!
Presentation
A USB port allows you to connect the pedal directly to a PC or Mac to edit rhythms using the BeatBuddy Mangager software, which lets you arrange the sequence of patterns and fills, and import your own rhythms saved in standard MIDI file format. An SD card reader also allows you to import and exchange rhythms without using a computer.
A MIDI input allows you to sync the pedal with an external MIDI instrument. Inputs and outputs are stereo (or mono using only the left channel), and a headphone jack allows you to practice without an amp.
