Bertram Engel is a German rock drummer, born in Burgsteinfurt in 1957, renowned for his powerful and expressive style. He is best known for his role in Udo Lindenberg's Panikorchester since 1976 and for his long-standing collaboration with Peter Maffay. Over the course of his career, Engel has also worked with many renowned international artists, including Eric Burdon, Robert Palmer and Bruce Springsteen.
