When SML Paris designed the TB500-BF, it quickly became clear that it wasn't just another trombone. The choice of a large bore coupled with a wide bell opens up the sound beautifully, while preserving a certain ease of playing, even in prolonged conditions. Everything has been designed to ensure a fluid link between musician and instrument, right down to the chrome-plated nickel silver inner slide that prevents accidental slipping.
While some models impose their rigidity, the TB500-BF from SML Paris is much softer in the hand. The varnish adds a warm touch to the timbre, particularly in the midrange, and the brass design throughout the body, right down to the mouthpiece, accentuates this homogeneity.
