The Compact Stagebox is an extension for the Soundcraft Vi, Soundcraft Si, Soundcraft Vi1 and Soundcraft SI Compact digital consoles. It adds 32 XLR inputs, 16 XLR outputs and connects to the mixing console via Cat5 cable.

Presentation
The Soundcraft Compact Stagebox offers a high density of I/O connections in just 4U of rack space.
Modular, the unit is fully configurable but comes with a standard configuration of 32 mic/line inputs, 16 line outputs and 2 expansion slots for standard Studer D21m I/O cards.
A MADI recording interface can also be fitted to the expansion slots.
The Compact Stagebox can be fitted with an additional 16 mic/line input XLR module in place of the output module, providing 48 inputs. In this case, analogue or AES outputs can still be obtained on D-type connectors via D21m cards fitted to the expansion slots.
In addition to the flexibility of the D21m option board interface, the Compact Stagebox also uses the same mic/line I/O modules as the Soundcraft Vi1 console, and therefore modules can be moved or shared between the console and stagebox, if a different I/O configuration is required on the Vi1 or Stagebox.
Mic input modules can be replaced by output modules if a large number of outputs are required. When installing cards in expansion slots, it should be noted that the maximum input and output capacity of the CSB is limited by the MADI console link to 64 inputs/64 outputs.
