The maple neck provides the rigidity needed for stable intonation over the full 325 mm string length, while the Pearwood fingerboard gives a smooth, even surface under the finger, close to ebony in terms of glide, which guides the positioning of the positions without snagging. The 4 fine-tuning pegs provide precise, stable tuning without the play of traditional friction pegs.
