StarWay - Aqua 580 BWS

The StarWay Aqua 580 BWS is a motorised moving head designed for applications where optical versatility and robustness are essential. Thanks to its IP66 all-weather design, it can be used outdoors in difficult conditions, while maintaining a high level of luminous performance and precision.

Its optical system covers three distinct modes: Beam, Spot and Wash. In Beam mode, it can produce an extremely tight beam of up to 0° to 2°, offering a powerful, highly concentrated aerial effect. In Spot and Wash mode, its progressive zoom allows it to switch from a narrow beam to a wide beam of up to 50°, making it suitable for a wide variety of scenic and architectural applications.

Colour management is based on a progressive CMY system combined with a linear CTO and a 12-colour wheel. This combination delivers rich, accurate colour reproduction, complemented by smooth transition effects and built-in macros for rapid use in production.

The effects section includes two gobo wheels (fixed and rotating), a graphics effects wheel, an independent frost and a system of superimposable prisms for generating complex, dynamic beams. These elements offer lighting designers considerable creative freedom, particularly in stage and event environments.

The fast PAN/TILT motorisation with automatic position correction guarantees high precision of movement, even in intensive use. DMX, RDM, Art-Net and sACN control ensure seamless integration into modern lighting networks, while wireless DMX compatibility facilitates on-site installation.

Designed with a high-strength cast aluminium and ABS chassis, the Aqua 580 BWS is suitable for touring, festival and permanent outdoor installations. Its modular design simplifies maintenance and helps to maximise the life of the fixture.
