StarWay - Stormlite HD V2

The StormLite HD V2 has been developed to meet the needs of lighting designers seeking a fixture capable of producing particularly powerful strobe effects whilst retaining the qualities of a true colour wash projector.

This dual functionality means it can be used both for spectacular lighting effects and for continuous colour washes with no time limit – a particularly valuable advantage on concert stages, television sets or at large-scale events.

Its light engine, comprising 630 RGBW LEDs, delivers an impressive light output of 38,720 lumens. The 120° beam angle ensures very wide and uniform coverage, ideal for back-of-stage effects, massive backlighting or the illumination of set elements. Unlike many colour strobes, the StormLite HD maintains remarkable light stability even during prolonged use, thanks to intelligent LED power management.

One of this model’s key strengths lies in its advanced electronic system, capable of independently managing the power of each colour. This architecture allows for high light output across each of the RGBW components whilst keeping overall power consumption under control.

When a particularly spectacular effect is required, the system also allows for ‘Colour Burst’ sequences or full-power strobe flashes to create particularly striking visual impacts.

The integrated BC Colour System significantly expands creative possibilities. Ten calibrated white macros are available between 2,700 K and 8,000 K, whilst retaining access to the RGBW channels. This approach allows the colour temperature to be adjusted instantly, whilst retaining the ability to correct or customise the output to blend seamlessly with an existing lighting rig, regardless of the make of the other projectors used.
