StarWay - Ulys

The StarWay Ulys is the latest addition to the brand's range of self-contained battery-powered floodlights, offering a compact and versatile solution for professionals working in events, architecture and decorative lighting. Based on the RGB + Lime technology already used on the top models in the range, it combines rendering quality, mobility and ease of use in a format that is particularly easy to transport.

Its light source, comprising 7 x 20 W RGB + Lime LEDs, produces rich, even colours and more natural whites than a conventional RGB system. The white macros available, from 2700 K to 10000 K, make it easy to integrate into a wide range of environments, from architectural lighting to receptions, corporate events and stage shows.

The native 10° optic can be adapted using the 20°, 40° and 60° x 10° diffusion filters supplied. This modularity means you can quickly adjust the beam width to suit the constraints of the venue or the desired effect. A removable 8-sided barn door is also included to further refine light control.

Designed to work without any wiring constraints, the Ulys is fitted with a lithium-ion battery offering up to 24 hours of autonomy on a fixed colour. The Battery Disconnected mode preserves the battery during prolonged use on mains power, while the Emergency function can automatically recall a pre-recorded lighting state in the event of a power cut.

DMX, RDM and Wireless DMX compatible via Wireless Solution, it can also be controlled directly from a smartphone via its Bluetooth application. Its natural convection cooling ensures totally silent operation, while its IP65 rating means it can be used outdoors without additional protection.
