The assembly of the skin and the system voltage (string): three iron hoops are disposed on the djembe (two for the top, a smaller one for down), and then welded. The irons are surrounded by a fabric finishing and skin protection. Tightening knots are mounted on an upper rim and the lower rim. The tension rope is then installed through these nodes. The goat skin is soaked in water for several hours, to give it its flexibility. Shaved, it is mounted on the instrument, and stretched to good positioning in chamfer djembe. Once dried in the sun, the skin will be stretched using the rope by the editors, who, armed with a wooden handle and locking pliers will give the desired instrument sound of the djembe.
