Toca - Tambourin Colorsound Ocean Blue 10"

The tambourine is often perceived as a simple instrument. In reality, it's one of the most demanding when it comes to control, rhythmic placement and sound colour. The TOCA Colorsound Ocean Blue 10" has been designed with this in mind: to offer a responsive, balanced instrument capable of blending naturally into a wide variety of musical environments.

Its exotic acacia hardwood hoop gives a direct playing feel. Light in the hand, it allows precise striking, rotation and accents without tiring the wrist. The 10-inch diameter offers an ideal compromise: enough surface area to develop a full resonance, while retaining excellent control of the sound.

The two rows of cymbalettes combine nickel-plated and brass components. This is not an aesthetic choice, but an acoustic one. The nickel provides a clean, defined attack, while the brass enriches the spectrum with rounder harmonics.
