This unique and proprietary extension was carried out in collaboration with two legendary drummers Clyde Stubblefield and John "Jab'o" Starks.
Independently or in tandem, Starks and Stubblefield were the principal drummers for the Godfather of Soul and Funk, Mr. James Brown. Fans and critics do not fail to mention the enormous impact they have had on the Brown group in the heyday of Funk. Parts batteries combined on the famous double album "Sex Machine" are among the most innovative and funky record.
The samples and loops and beats their drum breaks have since become the foundation of Hip Hop. Their breaks gave birth to a multitude of styles ranging from experimental to popular music. They also inspired a host of DJ's in their technical DJing and production based on samples, making Starks and Stubblefield the most sampled and influential drummers in modern music.
