Triad-Orbit - Kick and Overhead System

Triad-Orbit's Kick & Overhead System has been designed to solve a practical problem that all sound engineers are familiar with: how to effectively pick up a kick drum and one or two overheads without multiplying the number of stands around the kit. The answer proposed here is a centralised, stable and entirely modular architecture.

The basis of the system is the T2 Standard Tripod Stand. Its cast-iron construction and large footprint provide stability for extended configurations. This is complemented by the O2 Dual Arm Orbital Boom, a double orbital boom that allows two microphones to be installed, with precise control of angle and position thanks to the proprietary Triad-Orbit articulation system.

Three M2 Short Stem adaptors are included to secure the microphones via the Compass Point system and the IO Quick-Change interface, facilitating rapid changes in live or studio situations.

The system also incorporates an OA Orbit Arm and an IO-A2A Long Telescopic Arm in aluminium. This combination makes it possible to reach the bass drum precisely while positioning the overheads above the kit without interfering with the drummer's playing. The IO-C clamp completes the set, offering additional mounting options depending on the configuration.

The whole package forms a coherent, compact and scalable solution, ideal for live set-ups where space management and speed of installation are essential, but also in the studio when precise placement is a priority.
