SB1-BB is a ballast bag for the Starbird SB-1 microphone stand. It is filled with 2.70 kg of stainless steel shot. Removing the rear cover of the Starbird SB-1 mic stand counterweight allows easy access and installation.

Hanging heavy loads or equipment from the Starbird SB-1 with its large wingspan may require more ballast than its 4.5kg counterweight can balance.
For these moments, the SB1-BB adds a further 2.7kg to the counterweight.
The SB1-BB is easy to install, simply remove the cover on the back of the counterweight and slide the ballast bag onto it.
Once the ballast bag is installed, it is recommended to check the counterweight lock and adjust the lock if necessary to ensure the counterweight does not move.
