Triad-Orbit - Snare and HiHat System

Triad-Orbit's Snare & HiHat System is in keeping with the brand's modular approach: starting from a solid base and assembling selected IO components for a specific task. In this case, the objective is clear: to optimise snare drum and hi-hat miking while reducing floor space requirements.

The system is based on the T1 Short Tripod Stand, a compact tripod base designed for constrained environments. Its low height and stability make it an ideal choice for configurations close to the floor, typical of snare drum or hi-hat miking. This base becomes the central point of a multi-mic mini-rig.

The O2x Dual Arm Orbital Boom offers advanced flexibility. Thanks to its orbital architecture, it allows two microphones to be positioned independently, with precise control of angle and range. The IO-Vector Utility Bar adds an additional mounting surface, opening up the possibility of a third mounting point. Together, they create a coherent structure for mounting up to three microphones on a single stand.

Three M2 Short Stem adaptors complete the system. Equipped with the IO Quick-Change mechanism, they make it easy to mount and replace microphones quickly. This configuration reduces the number of stands around the kit, frees up space for the drummer and simplifies cabling. For narrow stages or optimised studio set-ups, this type of modular solution delivers real operational efficiency.
