The Triad-Orbit T2/OM/M2 Standard Tripod Stand System illustrates a totally rethought approach to the traditional microphone stand. Here, every element is designed to provide precise, stable and repeatable mechanical control. The aim is simple: to allow exact placement of the microphone, without compromising on strength or speed of adjustment.

The T2 base rests on a cast-iron tripod structure, with massive feet providing reassuring stability, even with high-end microphones or slightly offset configurations. Its height range extends from 92 cm to 174 cm, covering vocals, acoustic instruments and certain ambient applications. The IO Quick-Change coupling system makes it easy to change configurations without complex handling.

The OM Orbit Mini boom is the centrepiece of the system. Its proprietary ball-and-socket joint allows extremely precise positioning in space. Adjustment is not limited to a fixed axis, but offers three-dimensional freedom, useful for fine-tuning the angle of attack of a condenser mic, placing an instrument mic with millimetre precision or quickly adapting the configuration to a new sound source.

The M2 adaptor completes the package, with its Compass Point housing and integrated ball-and-socket joint. Designed for small-diaphragm microphones, it provides a stable, directional mounting. The whole system remains modular: each component can be interchanged or added to according to recording or capturing needs.
