Vandoren's LC05P Optimum Ligature for German Bb clarinets has been designed to hold the reed in place on the mouthpiece while allowing the reed to vibrate freely. The symmetrical quick-release system, with its unique double-threaded screw, allows for precise and easy adjustment, preventing the reed from being either too tight or too loose.
This ligature comes with three interchangeable silver-plated brass pressure plates. In practical terms, this means you can adapt your sound: one plate for a clean staccato, another for a more pronounced projection, and the last for a softer, more nuanced sound.
