But make no mistake, they deserve a regular change for fresh audio. The 2-way truss rod is fast and precise, with no headaches. All you have to do is fine-tune. The gold fittings keep their shine and a cover is supplied for extra protection.

Presentation
The Washburn WCGM55K Comfort G-Mini 55 Koa is a small folk guitar that packs a punch. Its compact size and cutaway? Perfect for extended sessions. But when you're playing harder, the size of the body may limit comfort a little.
The sculpted Sitka spruce X-bracing does the job. It projects, but remains in the 'intimate' category. The volume doesn't have the power of a full-size guitar, but it comes through pretty well.
Sound-wise, this mini-guitar is far from dry. The bass is a little shy, but the overall sound is warm and clear. A little gem not to be underestimated!
The satin-finish mahogany neck glides under your fingers. There's no 'jamming' here, even for fast transitions. Playing remains fluid and pleasant, without a hitch.
The laurel fingerboard? It's responsive, but lacks warmth on the high notes. Rosewood would have brought a little more life to this.
On the side, the koa gives a real feeling of robustness. The guitar feels ready to take a beating, but be careful not to overdo it. The body vibrates, but doesn't derail.
The settings don't budge. With D'Addario EXP-16 strings, the tuning holds all day without flinching. No nasty surprises!
The Graphtech Nubone saddle isn't just for show. It boosts note projection and precision.
