Designed for video installations, the Yellowtec Mika Mic Arm TV Black YT3208 is a low-profile microphone arm designed to remain outside a camera’s field of view. This design ensures that faces remain fully visible to the audience or the person being interviewed, whilst keeping the microphone positioned within speaking range.
With a maximum reach of 67 cm, this arm supports microphones weighing up to 1.5 kg. Its adjustable friction joints make it easy to balance the arm according to the microphone’s weight. Just a few knurled screws are needed to achieve a secure fit and quickly customise the microphone’s position.
The 360° red/white ‘On Air’ indicator sits just above the microphone to signal different statuses, including ‘On Air’ or ‘Mic Ready’. The YT3208 model features open cable ends; the internal cabling remains concealed within the tubes and joints.
Made from matt anodised aluminium, the arm is compatible with the entire m!ka mounting system. Options for table, wall or pole mounting are available, requiring a m!ka boom arm and a mounting adapter. The model comes with a slip-on rail for various boom arm mounting options and a comprehensive m!ka Briefing Book.
