Zildjian - K Symphonic Light Brilliant 18" (la paire)

The Zildjian K Symphonic Light Brilliant 18" is a pair of orchestral cymbals designed for percussionists looking for a fast response and a lighter playing feel, without losing the richness of sound characteristic of the K series. With their 18-inch size, these cymbals react immediately under the hands, which helps a great deal with nuanced passages, precise accents or progressive crescendos.

The sound remains dark and deep, but with an extra touch of brilliance thanks to the Brilliant finish. This combination brings more definition to the attack while retaining a warm musical colour. In a symphonic ensemble, this allows the cymbal to stand out naturally without becoming too aggressive or overwhelming the rest of the orchestra.

The 18" diameter also provides a more compact and responsive feel than a 20" version. Crashes start quickly, with good readability in rhythmic passages and a very regular response whatever the playing dynamics. Sustain remains balanced, present enough to fill the space, but controlled enough to maintain precision in the more technical pieces.

Lighter than the standard K Symphonic, these cymbals require less effort to open and maintain excellent sonic homogeneity from pianissimo through to the most powerful passages. Straps sold separately.
