Zildjian - K Symphonic 18" (la paire)

The Zildjian K Symphonic 18" pair has a very clear purpose: to give orchestral percussionists a reliable tool capable of remaining legible and musical whatever the dynamics. Developed with Marc Damoulakis, they are positioned between the dark warmth of the K Constantinople and the more direct projection of classical orchestral models.

With their 18-inch diameter and heavy thickness, these cymbals react with a clean attack, without being aggressive. The core of the sound remains centred on the rich midrange, which helps to maintain a constant presence in even a dense ensemble. Sustain is controlled, long enough to sustain a musical phrase without invading space.

In an orchestral context, whether for Romantic, modern or more contemporary repertoire, they maintain a homogeneous colour from the beginning to the end of the gesture. There's no need to force them: the response remains stable, from pianissimo to forte.

Their traditional finish and hammering contribute to this feeling of control and consistency. Note that the straps are not included, leaving the choice up to the musician according to his or her playing preferences.
