Zildjian - Z Custom 15" (la paire)

The Zildjian Z Custom 15" hi-hats take the series' massive, powerful approach even further. With a larger diameter than a standard 14" hi-hat, the sound changes immediately under the sticks: the sound becomes wider, thicker and develops more volume when the hi-hat is opened.

The tick retains good definition, but with more body in the midrange. At the foot, the "chick" becomes particularly heavy and imposing, which works very well in styles where the hi-hat needs to maintain a real presence even with saturated guitars and a high overall sound level. In modern metal, hardcore, hard rock or even sludge contexts, this feeling of width adds a great deal of power to the groove.

Thanks to the combination of Medium Heavy Top and Heavy Bottom, the hi-hat remains stable even when played very loudly. When opened slightly, it develops an aggressive, high-energy wash without becoming muddy. This ability to maintain control despite the volume makes a real difference on stage.

Visually, it has the same glossy finish and famous star-shaped hammering as the original Z Custom. The feel is also more modern and balanced than some previous generations, with a more fluid feel under the stick despite the heavy weight of the pair.
