A tonearm is much more than just a support for a cartridge: it's the balance point of your turntable. This Zomo model for DP-4000 and DP-5000 USB has been designed to offer precise groove tracking.
Its height adjustment allows you to perfectly adjust the angle at which the cartridge is read, for faithful, well-centred sound reproduction, whatever the type of record you're using. This is particularly useful if you're changing cartridge or slipmat: total flexibility, with no headaches.
Another important detail is the integrated anti-skating knob. It balances the return force exerted on the arm to prevent premature wear of the diamond and limit distortion in the left and right channels. What does this mean in practice? Cleaner, more stable, more enjoyable playback.
