This recorder is a truly compact 16-track portable studio that can record up to 8 channels simultaneously, and can be used either in stand-alone mode with recording on an SDHC/SDXC card (up to 1 TB) or with a computer via its USB2 interface (on the USB-C connector).
The Zoom R20 provides access to all editing and mixing functions on a colour touchscreen.
Inserting and adjusting effects is made extremely easy thanks to modern computer technology and DSPs.
Create your musical projects from scratch, use rhythm loops by simply dragging and dropping, and finalise them internally, without the need to transfer them to a computer, or use the Zoom R20 as an audio interface with your computer for more complex projects that will require the use of your favourite sequencer - it's all possible.

The R 20 can also read standard Midi files, import bass lines, melodies and piano parts and play them through the internal synth. And if you're the kind of musician who's on the move, your R 20 can be controlled remotely via your iPhone or iPad, thanks to the optional BTA 1 and R 20 remote controls (scheduled for release in spring 2022).

Très bon produit MAIS n a pas les fonctionnalités essentielles de ses aînés R8 et R16 : l:auto punch (reprise d une partie d enregistrement grâce à des markers) et transfert des projets sur ordinateur par câble USB.

Tres bon produit. Je possède aussi une zoom R24. La R20 regroupe des avancés significative (entrée midi par ex, écran tactile permettant plus facilement des changements de pistes, des coupes, etc). C'est aussi une carte son qui permet de l'utiliser avec logic pro en surface de controle.

Le ZOOM R20 est un enregistreur et une table de mixage multipistes facile à utiliser et à un prix intéressant . Je l'utilise en live avec plusieurs claviers ,micro et guitare , connecté à mon DAW .
