2Box - DrumIt Five MKII

The 2BOX DrumIt Five MKII is designed for those who want to upgrade their electronic drum kit without having to start from scratch. Its Universal Trigger interface allows you to connect most standard pads and triggers, including those from other manufacturers. You can therefore keep your current setup and simply adjust the module’s trigger settings to suit your kit.

With 32 GB of sound memory on an SD card, the DrumIt Five MKII offers plenty of space for your sounds and kits. Its library includes studio-recorded multi-layered sounds, featuring the signature styles of Randy Black, Marco Minnemann and Simon Phillips. The different velocity levels allow you to gradually reproduce the nuances between a light strike and a harder strike.

The module supports 3-zone snare drums and cymbals to make the most of the different striking surfaces on compatible pads. You also have 6 separate line outputs, a stereo Line In input, a headphone output and MIDI In/Out connections. The song player and metronome allow you to practise your songs or play along to WAV files directly from the module.

The 2BOX editor for Mac and PC allows you to manage your kits and create your own sounds, loops and multi-layered samples. You can then simply use an SD card to transfer your creations to the DrumIt Five MKII. The Kit Up/Down, Tap Tempo and Start/Stop functions can be assigned to the trigger inputs to control various functions directly from your pads. And with 75 editable preset kits and 100 memory slots, you’ll have more than enough space to organise your sound library.
