The 2BOX DrumIt Three is an electronic drum module with 15 universal trigger inputs, capable of accommodating pads, cymbals and hi-hats from a wide range of manufacturers. Its 4 GB memory contains multi-layered sounds at 44.1 kHz / 24-bit, including signatures from Randy Black, Marco Minnemann and Simon Phillips. You can also create your own sounds and kits using the 2BOX editor for Windows and Mac, then transfer them directly via USB.

Presentation
The 2BOX DrumIt Three allows you to upgrade your electronic drum kit without necessarily having to replace all your pads. Thanks to its 15 universal trigger inputs, it is compatible with the majority of triggers using piezo or switch technology, including pads and cymbals from other manufacturers. This means you can keep your existing kit, adjust the trigger settings and enjoy a new sound library.
The module features 4 GB of memory for storing sounds and kits, with multi-layer sampling technology that reproduces dynamic variations based on strike strength. The D/A converters operate at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz to reproduce these sounds with precision. Support for 3-zone snare drums and cymbals also allows you to utilise different strike zones with compatible pads.
In terms of connectivity, it features 4 outputs, a Line In input, MIDI In/Out and a USB port. The DrumIt Three also includes a metronome and a track player, which is handy for playing along to your WAV files or practising with backing tracks. Control functions can be assigned to the trigger inputs to start or stop a loop, change kits or use Tap Tempo directly from a pad.
Finally, the Open Sound Architecture allows you to take things further by creating your own sounds and loops from WAV files using the 2BOX editor, available on Windows and Mac. You can then transfer your creations to the module via USB and build your own kits. Not bad if you already have an electronic drum kit that you’re happy with physically, but want to completely revamp its sound.
