AKG - CU800
The AKG CU-800 charging dock charges two transmitters for the DMS-800 and DMS-700 wireless systems. With its dedicated slots, automatic current management and active cooling, it is designed to keep the batteries in the transmitters whilst they are charging, using pulse technology that also monitors the temperature.
Presentation
The batteries are recharged whilst still in the transmitters, thanks to the contacts built into the slots. This design simplifies equipment management and avoids the need to repeatedly handle the batteries. For a wireless setup used regularly, the system thus maintains an organised and consistent operation.
Pulse-charging technology allows high instantaneous voltages to be applied without causing the battery to overheat. The CU-800 automatically determines the appropriate charging current, whilst its silent fan helps regulate the temperature of the battery cells. This combination provides more precise electronic control of the process, with particular attention paid to charging conditions.
Rack mounting is also possible with the 19-inch mounting bracket, available separately. The dock can thus be integrated into a fixed setup housing the wireless system’s equipment.

Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
